The Eduardo Awards has been created in 2004 to remember the prominent figure of who was the creator and supporter of Maxibasketball in the world; Mr. Eduardo Rodriguez Lamas.
Among the different categories of these awards one in particular transforms the winner in the World Maxibasketball Ambassador, the “Gold Eduardo Award”.
During the next two years the person who obtains this award is recognized by the sport community as the one who has excellent work conditions, real will of promotion and true leadership in his or her position in Maxibasketball -player, governor, referee or any other one-.

Dusan Hauptman, from Slovenia, is today the “Gold Eduardo Award Male”, the Maxibasketball Ambassador in the World (2009-2011).

Hana Bruhova from Czech Republic is today the “Gold Eduardo Award Female”, the Maxibasketball Female Ambassador in the World (2009-2011).
